Editing youtube video

I can download with the youtube downloader and play the files with wimpy player, but the problem occurs when I try to import it into adobe premiere to edit. All I get is the audio. The video is not there. Any suggestions?

You probably need a plugin / codec for adobe that can import flash video.
As i'm a mac user, i cannot advise you on it exactly, but i think part of Adobe design suite is also Adobe flash. If you install that, you will get flash support in Adobe Premiere.
