what can i use to add animation to a movie

I want to add an animated line to a movie clip. I want to add a line that tracks the flight of a javelin thrown by a person. Can you tell me the best sw that I can use to effect this?

Editing youtube video

I can download with the youtube downloader and play the files with wimpy player, but the problem occurs when I try to import it into adobe premiere to edit. All I get is the audio. The video is not there. Any suggestions?

I am interested in making a movie of someone with them against a blue or green background and then using some software program to make the background transparent and then inserting it into a web page / flash animation software so that the objects/data behind the transparent background would display - can you suggest a free, or if not, paid effective program?

Video editing question: Rotation capability

Can anyone recommend a freeware or low cost video editing tool that will allow me to rotate the video 90 degrees? I've got a bunch of video clips from a digital camera to were taken with the camera turned and can't seem to find a tool to rotate them back.

Adjusting Volume

I'm pretty new at this so please be gentle. I used the Nero DVD burning program to burn several small music videos onto one disc. The Volume on some of them is extremely louder than the others. When I burn a music CD I can equalize the volume of all the tracks but I cannot find a way to equalize the volume of the music videos. Anybody help? Thanks.

I am trying to find a software that I can use to create video/image montages for commerical use. Basically, create the video/image montage for my clients, and charge them a fee for the final product to post on their site, or youtube. Some of the software out there are nice and easy to use like muvee.com or onetruemedia.com, but only for personal use. What would anyone recommend I purchase?

I know this is probably a stupid question but .... I have been sent a DVD disc with a video clip on it I would like to see but I don't have a video camera and my computer can't open it with Media Player.

The DVD contains a folder with a VRO and IFO file in it. Can anyone point me to where I can get some software that will open this. I am preferably looking for something FREE !!!!

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to video editing and would really appreciate if someone could help me out.
I have a video clip of two people dancing on stage. One person is standing still and the other one is dancing at a short distance from the person standing still. I want to bring the dancing person close to the one standing still. Is there any video/multimedia/animation editing software which can do this?

Pls, I'll like to know how to connect my SONY camcoder as pass thru to capture analogue video from VCR to my PC. Anytime I attempted this, I'm only able to capture the audio but nothing shows on the camera LCD. Ironically, it was clearly stated in the cam manual that it's quite possible but i've made several attempts & could not still work out.

I do connect the camera to VCR thru RCA cable supplied.
